We began our store in Lexington, KY in early 2008.  W have always been animal lovers and have studied the biology of mammals at Purdue and at the University of KY, though fish were always a hobby, the aspect of learning marine biology and diving into the hobby as we begin to learn the needs of the home reef tank and what is happening to the worlds oceans.   We travel to the Newport Aquarium very frequently and have grown to love seeing the differences that just a month r so can make in the eco systems that they create.  We through that Lexington and the surrounding area need another choice for pets and that we could do just that.  We wanted to offer all of the pets that anyone could ever want, or if we do not carry them offer an alternative medium to provide it.
